We hope you can join us for Writing Hour today — a dedicated space for writing, with lo-fi music and no distractions. Dozens of writers join each week to foster a supportive environment for writing.

What is Writing Hour?

We gather together on Zoom with some calm music and a welcome screen, but there’s no feedback, no talking, no cameras, and mics off. (Ah, the sweet joy of being on mute!) All forms of writing are equally welcome — a Medium story of course, but also your novel, that email you’ve been putting off, a haiku, the SQL query your boss has been asking about.

When is Writing Hour?

As always, Writing Hour is on Thursday at these two times:

9am EDT (1pm GMT, 6am PDT)

Noon EDT (4pm GMT, 9am PDT)
